Water and sanitation

Between 2017 and 2023, Cap Développement carried out significant actions in the water and sanitation sector to improve living conditions for local communities. The association rehabilitated 26 boreholes, as well as the well for the Mounakoro dispensary, and built a borehole for the Konankoïra secondary school, guaranteeing reliable access to drinking water in these areas.

Drilling

In partnership with the Agence de l’Eau Seine Normandie (AESN) and Le Havre Seine Métropole, Cap Développement has also built 70 latrines to meet the sanitation needs of local populations. These infrastructures have helped reduce the health risks associated with insalubrity and promote sustainable hygiene practices.

These achievements illustrate the association’s commitment to meeting the essential challenges of access to water and sanitation, key elements in the well-being and development of communities.
